STUDY

IMAGINATION MAKES YOU STRONG.

In an Ipsos study, Bübchen explored the importance of imagination. The answer is clear: imagination empowers children and parents alike, as it has a significant influence on positive bonding and promotes development.

Children continually surprise adults with their imagination and creative ideas. This was confirmed by almost 70% of respondents in a recent Ipsos study commissioned by Bübchen*. Three-quarters of parents are also convinced that they can learn a great deal from their children's imaginations. While playing together, telling stories, and romping, they can be inspired by their little ones' creativity, join in the fun themselves, and encourage their children to continue fantasizing. This not only strengthens the imagination but, according to 70% of Germans, also strengthens the bond between parent and child. Furthermore, almost one in three of those surveyed has found that imagination in everyday life with children helps them master one or two difficult situations – such as washing hair or brushing teeth.

FANTASY CHARACTERS AND STORIES STIMULATE CHILDREN'S IMAGINATION

There is a consensus that imagination is a very important part of growing up. Nearly a third of respondents would like to encourage their child's imagination more, but don't know how. Around 70%, however, already have a fairly concrete idea. They believe that fantasy characters, stories, or even creative painting particularly stimulate children's imaginations. Imaginative figures on Bübchen childcare products offer plenty of inspiration. From Sports Friend to Princess Rosalea to Raspberry Fun —everyone can immerse themselves in their own fantasy world while showering or bathing.

MORE ROOM FOR IMAGINATION

Although imagination is so important, it clearly doesn't find a place in our lives very often. A full 70% of study participants believe that our society leaves too little room for imagination. "It's all the more important to continually create this space for ourselves by parents participating in their children's fantasy worlds and encouraging their little ones to continue fantasizing. This encourages our offspring to further develop and strengthen this powerful ability," says children's book author Angelika Bartram.

ADULTS ARE INSPIRED BY CHILDREN'S IMAGINATION

According to an Ipsos study, children are indeed a great source of inspiration for more imagination: 74% of respondents believe that adults can learn a great deal from their children's creativity. Nearly 60% are even regularly inspired by their children's imaginations in everyday life. This makes it all the more important to encourage children's creativity through exciting stories or imaginative characters. And a full three-quarters of respondents even stated that they are more successful in their jobs because they are inspired by their offspring's creativity.
