Our Code of Conduct applies worldwide
We want the well-being of people not only at our locations in Germany, but throughout our entire supply chain. Therefore, we adhere to the UN Guiding Principles on Human Rights and select our suppliers and business partners accordingly. All raw materials must therefore not only meet our strict quality standards but also adhere to our sustainability criteria. For example, compliance with the Bübchen Code of Conduct or comparable codes of conduct already forms the basis for our collaboration with our raw material and packaging suppliers.
TO PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT
The small footprint represents our efforts to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. To this end, we have been producing all our bottles* from 100% recycled plastic since 2022. Our Bübchen factory is climate-neutral, and our products are completely microplastic-free.
*We are working on the closure, label & dyes.

Neue Verpackung – weniger Müll.
Wusstest du, dass wir seit 2022 alle Flaschen* aus 100% recyceltem Plastik herstellen und diese auch wieder vollständig recycelt werden können? So schließt sich der Kreislauf, um Rohstoffe zu schonen, wiederzuverwerten und nachhaltig zu produzieren.
... und so geht Recycling:

Alle Verpackungen, die du in die gelbe Tonne wirfst, z.B. leere Duschgelflaschen, werden zu einer Recycling-Anlage transportiert.

Dort werden sie geschreddert, gewaschen, sortiert und zu Granulaten verarbeitet.

Im nächsten Schritt wird das Granulat bei unserem Flaschenlieferanten eingefärbt und zu unserer ikonischen Bübchen Flaschenform geblasen.

Die Flaschen* aus 100% recyceltem Plastik verlassen unser Bübchen-Werk und wandern zu euch nach Hause ins Badezimmer.

Damit unsere Flaschen recycelt werden können, trenne den Deckel von der Flasche ab und entsorge beides in der gelben Tonne.

Dadurch kannst du einen kleinen Beitrag zum Klimaschutz leisten, denn durch die Wiederverwertung unserer Flaschen können nicht nur Rohstoffe eingespart, sondern auch der Ausstoß von CO2 vermindert werden.
*An Verschluss, Etikett & Farbstoffen sind wir dran.

Hättest du das gedacht? Durch die Umstellung unseres gesamten Sortiments auf Flaschen* aus 100% recyceltem Plastik sparen wir eine ganze Menge Plastik ein. 634 Tonnen um genau zu sein – oder anders ausgedrückt: ein Volumen von mehr als 15,9 Millionen Badeenten.

Bübchen was founded in Soest in 1961 and continues to produce there today. German regulations and standards for baby products are very strict, which is in the interest of many parents. We and our factory are regularly inspected, employees are paid fairly according to collective agreements, and animal testing is prohibited. Therefore, locating in Germany is a conscious decision for us to ensure the highest quality of our products and jobs in Germany. There are many reasons why Bübchen, with its "Made in Germany" label, is so popular internationally.
